Over the course of this six-week class, each participant will write at least one ten-minute play. In the first session, we will discuss best practices for writing a short play, including formatting, plotting, character building, and conflict management, along with how to submit a play to festivals. Students will be expected to work on their plays between classes. In subsequent classes there will be readings of each playwright's work with students offering constructive criticism. In the final session, we will put on a show, performing our plays in front of a live audience.

Sessions will be held 7:00 - 9:00 pm on 10/23, 11/20, 12/18, 1/15, 2/12, and 3/11.
