You are invited to join musicians from Music from Salem for this interactive music workshop!

Music from Salem's workshops are designed around the classical chamber music that the world-class musicians from Music from Salem are preparing.  At each workshop the artists will demonstrate all the instruments: violins, violas, cello, and clarinet, their age, materials, capacities for different sounds, and more. Participants will be guided to pick up the inventive and contagious rhythms of various pieces, including clapping and speaking and singing participation, sometimes even dancing, or musical chairs.

The workshop is both fun and thought-provoking. This is a rare opportunity to experience world class performers, and live classical string playing informally and up close.

All children ages 6+ and adults of all abilities are welcome!
