Hope of Recovery Film Screening

Monday, August 126:30—8:30 PMCommunity RoomGreenwich Free Library148 Main Street, Greenwich, NY, 12834

Salem, Cambridge, and Greenwich libraries are teaming up this summer to each show a powerful documentary made by Adirondack Health Institute. "Hope for Recovery" delves into an issue that is regional and national in reach, but felt very much by our local communities, and that issue is substance abuse.

The film covers a wide range of people from the North Country, all different ages and from different walks in life, and portrays how each of them became addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. And yet, each of them has found a path to recovery and hope for their lives.

Whether you think so or not, there is a very strong chance that someone in your life has dealt, or is dealing, with substance abuse.

Everyone is invited to come to this film. The more we each understand about this epidemic, the more we can do to positively change our communities and help our neighbors and friends and family.
