Greenwich resident Cyndy Barbone has been awarded a 2024 New York State Rural and Traditional Arts Fellowship and all are welcome on Tuesday, October 29 at 6:30pm in the Greenwich Free Library Community Room for a presentation on the project. Admission is free.

Drawing inspiration from her personal connection to gardening and food, Cyndy is creating a symbolic textile piece that celebrates the work of the Food Recovery Program at the Comfort Food Community. This project visually documents the 10,350 pounds of produce gleaned by CFC from local farms in 2023, highlighting the importance of addressing food insecurity in the region.
