Let's celebrate our global music community by sharing music and dance with two master musicians from Guinea, West Africa! It is a great honor to host Master Drummer M'Bemba Bangoura (NYC, NY | Conakry, Guinea) and Master Dancer Youssouf Koumbassa (Birmingham, AL | Conakry, Guinea) in our neighborhood. 

 The evening will kick off with a short performance by M'Bemba and Youssouf with special guest musicians, and then all will be welcomed to join the all ages, all bodies, all abilities Community Intergenerational Dance. 💫 6:00-7:00 pm Community Intergenerational Dance with M'Bemba & Youssouf. Following this energizing movement session, there will be a more intensive Traditional Guinea, West African Dance Workshop where a specific rhythm will be explored through dance, and will include a deep dive into its history and meaning.
