Anxiety can be a normal reaction to situations that helps you stay alert and motivated, but it can become a problem when it's constant or overwhelming. Yet anxiety disorders are the most widespread mental health condition in people over 65. Psychologist Melissa Olivett will share techniques for recognizing anxiety, and offer methods for reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.

Melissa Olivett, PhD is a New York state licensed psychologist with a small private practice in Saratoga Springs, where she enjoys working with people in the "second half" of life.

This program is not intended to address major anxiety disorders.
