Erik Schlimmer is an award-winning author, educator, and mental health therapist. During the past thirty years, Erik has explored the wildest places in America. Some of his trips include mountain biking across the United States twice, paddling the Delaware and Susquehanna rivers from source to sea, and climbing 3,000 mountains.

The mountains he's most familiar with are the Adirondacks. At this event, Erik will share photos of this range as well as what his extensive research has revealed about place names. As he likes to say, "Behind every place name there's a story, and the story's usually pretty good."

Erik's books will be for sale at the event.
